Description

Beautiful antique Hand painted German porcelain plate signed by artist "O Wilkes". Yellow roses are hand painted on a fading brown to blueish white background. the edge of the plate is trimmed in gold. Stamped on the back of the plate with the Thomas "Sevres" Bavaria mark used from 1909 through 1939. Also stamped in green "La Reine" and "Hand Painted". Slightly larger than many cabinet plates, the plate measures 10.75" in diameter. The plate is good condition, no cracks, crazing or chips. Minor wear to the gold edging, please see pictures.
