UP FOR GRABS - OFFERS WELCOME! Thomas Bavaria ART DECO Dessert bread plates. 6 3/4” Green with gold accents. These belonged to my Nonna’s oldest sister (she’s the baby of 5) who received them as a gift from a cousin of theirs. These were my great aunts Christmas dessert plates. She used to have 24. This is the last ten. Bring on the tea party! WARNING! These dessert / Bread plates are partial to Tiramisu and Cassata! 😳 Apparently my Nonna’s cousin liked to put her name on her plates bc most have either her name or initials. Two escaped labeling! See pictures. I love that the name is part of the history of the dishes. I come from a family that was food focused Italians and travelers. My Nonna and her three sisters were always traveling and bringing home something to eat on or prepare meals with. CONDITION - Great very vintage condition. A few have minor loss of color in small areas . Mostly the black outline areas. Minor in overall affect and appearance. 9 plates - ZERO Chips, Cracks or Crazing 1 Plate - has some grey marks that may come off . I didn’t try. 1 plate - NO Cracks or Crazing BUT! Has one chip on edge that my grandpa colored in. Funny because you don’t really see it and your eyes want to make it go with the plate. See arrow sticker and zoom in. ALL plates have some utensil marks. I had to exaggerate lighting to get them to stand out. Not a big deal in person. Great Value Fair Price. Condition is considered when pricing items. It IS sometimes very TOUGH to show minor flaws in pictures because the camera doesn’t always want pick it up. Please ZOOM IN ON PICTURES to assist in evaluating condition. * We are downsizing and I need to let go of many of the collections I have either amassed or inherited.
