Thomas Sevres Bavaria – 10” Hand Painted Porcelain Plate – IRISES Being offered for your consideration is this vintage Thomas Sevres Bavaria porcelain plate. The plate features hand painted Irises on a soft pastel color ground of peach apricot and blue. The edge rim of the plate is gilded. This plate was hand painted, probably around the early part of the 20 th century, but it is not artist signed. A blue/green ' Thomas Sevres Bavaria ' mark is printed on the backside. Although the plate is in very good condition, there are some tiny contact marks found on the front surfaces, mostly on the foliage and background (see photographs). These are not apparent on causal glance, but can be seen with careful observation. Still, the hand painted artistry is wonderful and it can still be enjoyed as a cabinet piece or displayed on the wall. A very fine piece that would make a great addition to any collection of floral hand painted china! Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details. NO Chips, Cracks, Hairlines, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. Some light gold wear is noted to the rim.
