Description

Up for sale is a Hand Painted Floral Porcelain Side Plate. Circa 1908-1939. The plate features a nice white/blue/orange hue with hand painted pink and white flowers with leaves and gold gilt around the rim. The plate is artist signed by "REDN". The base has a blue printed mark that reads "Thomas / "Sevres" / Bavaria" This mark was used between 1908-1939. There is another red printed mark that reads "THE BUCHANAN STUDIO / INDIANAPOLIS" This is likely where the plate was decorated. There is minor wear to the gold gilt on the rim. Otherwise the plate is in great condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. Overall the plate still displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately: 6" Rim Diameter. 3 1/4" Base Diameter.
